"The law prohibiting Tik Tok has entered into force in the United States. Unfortunately, this means that you cannot use TikTok yet," the notification says when you try to log into the app.
The service also does not appear in the search results in the Apple app store. The service is available for download in the Google Play app store, but the app does not work after installation.
The service noted in the notification that US President-elect Donald Trump promised to find a solution to restore its operation. Earlier, in an interview with NBC News, the Republican stated that he was inclined to issue a decree postponing the TikTok ban for 90 days immediately after the inauguration on January 20. The app stopped working an hour before midnight on the east coast of the United States.
