The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Guangzhou, together with the Guangzhou Automobile Industry Association, organized the One Belt and One Road Forum to promote deepening cooperation in the automotive industry and open up new opportunities for the automotive industry in Central Asia.

At the event, the Secretary General of the Guangzhou Automobile Industry Association, Wang Xiaodang, noted that Central Asia has become a powerful growth point for the production of new energy vehicles in China, the Dong News Agency reports.

"From product manufacturing to technology development, the localization of China's automotive industry in Central Asian countries is gradually deepening, which, in turn, will facilitate the transition to a green and low-carbon industry," the Secretary General stressed.

"The Central Asian market is developing at a rapid and stable pace, which creates incentives for the ever-growing demand for auxiliary spare parts such as automotive components and chargers. The Association acts as a link for automobile companies not only from Guangzhou, but also from the southern provinces of China, helping them explore the Central Asian market and develop the automotive industry there," Wang Xiaodang concluded.

Representatives of Uzbekistan made a presentation on the topic "Investment and business opportunities in Uzbekistan". The participants were provided with information about the opportunities and economic potential for investors in our country.

At the forum, experts and employees of Chinese enterprises noted that the export potential and investment attractiveness of our country are constantly increasing.

The diplomats agreed with the Guangzhou Automobile Industry Association to establish cooperation relations between companies in the industry, as well as to organize business missions to develop joint investment projects.
