The President of Uzbekistan meets with the Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE

    On January 15, as part of an official visit to the United Arab Emirates, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held talks in Dubai with the Vice President, Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

    At the meeting, a high assessment was given to the fruitful results of the high-level talks held today, which brought the relations between Uzbekistan and UAE to the level of strategic partnership.

    Active contacts and fruitful interaction in such areas as improving the efficiency of public administration and training management personnel were noted with satisfaction.

    An agreement was reached on developing and implementing new projects in high technology, digitalization, infrastructure development, and other promising areas.

    Interest was expressed in close cooperation with UAE partners in artificial intelligence in Uzbekistan.

    Particular attention was paid to implementing Dubai’s advanced solutions in urban development, including within the framework of creating modern infrastructure in New Tashkent.

    The parties agreed to continue an active dialogue and increase full-scale cooperation in all areas of practical interaction.
